Soma Binge was inspired all of the amazing progressive music I was exposed to growing up, as well as my love of psychedelic rock & stoner metal. Joe Charalel and Justin Baer are also as responsible for the song as I am, with their love of thrash rising to the surface through the rhythm section.

The drums, bass, and guitar were all live tracked in one take at Savaria Studios. Mike engineered the setup & recording with the help of Pete Sombar. Pete kept it rolling as the band played - perfecting the song and writing parts as we went along. After we knew we had the master take, synth tracks, lead guitars, and effect returns were added & mixed at my space in Queens. Synth parts were played by Mike, Justin, and John Samaras who actually played some synth lines live with the band on a casio synth.

The track was mixed to 1/4 track tape by Michael Corrado (corrado.audio@gmail.com)
